About Oh Baby! Canberra

Joce & Che

Over the past 5 years the Canberra Baby and Beyond Expo has grown to what it is today - an event that gives Canberra families the chance to access the latest must-have innovative products, expert advice and support services to help attendees navigate through the journey from baby to beyond.

2019 sees a new event management team taking over the expo. Local Canberra businesses Nellie and the Cat and Tip You’re It! have come together as “Oh Baby! the Canberra Baby and Beyond Expo”.  We at Oh Baby! are looking forward to continuing the legacy set for us and working with exhibitors to ensure the expo continues to grow. This event will be a one stop shop for all pregnancy, infancy, and tiny tots needs offering a stylish but fun shopping experience, along with expert advice and entertainment.

Introducing the Oh Baby! Team -

Tip You're It opened its doors on Lonsdale Street, Braddon in April 2015. Inspired by the birth of their daughter Evie two years earlier, Trev and Che McGee brought together a range of brands they had found difficult to find in the nation’s capital.

With a focus on ethically made, sustainable products they have curated a wonderful space where you can get everything from your nursery furniture to a last-minute baby shower/birthday present.

Filled with brands you likely lust over on Instagram; Tip You're It has become the "must visit" store for all parents-to-be (and grandparents).

Now, four years in, and with another little bundle of inspiration in the form of two year old Finn, this local family business continues to bring a freshness to the children's market in their hometown.

Having exhibited at Canberra Baby & Beyond for the past four years, they have garnered an understanding and the experience to make Oh Baby! an event that everyone with babies, toddlers or babies-on-board will not want to miss.

The other half of Oh Baby! are Ant and Joce; parents of Ella and Iris and tired but happy humans.

Joce’s business Nellie and the Cat is now in its fifth year and has grown into an online destination for beautiful gifts for mums and babies. In the early stages of her business Joce developed a passion for supporting small business and empowering mums and so the You’ve Got This Mama mug was created. With hundreds of mugs now sold they are the most popular item on the Nellie and the Cat website and Joce is proud that so many mums are getting a pep-talk with their cup of coffee!

When they became new parents Ant and Joce identified a need for information and support for new dads as well as mums so they can’t wait to provide an entertaining and educational event for all parents and kids up to preschool age. Plus Joce is pumped about the shopping! :)
